Frequently asked questions

What is your cancellation policy?

You can cancel or reschedule your shoot at any time before 5:00 PM the day before the shoot without incurring a fee. If you reschedule after 5 PM the day before the shoot or on the day of the shoot, a 25% cancellation fee (of the total price, excluding discounts/travel fees) will apply.

Do you fly in any weather?

The weather is always a factor when scheduling a drone flight. For safety and quality, we only fly in clear or mildly cloudy conditions with minimal wind. We'll reschedule if there's heavy rain, snow, strong winds, or other unsafe conditions. When weather conditions are not suitable for flying, we will work with you to reschedule the flight within 24-48 hours, taking into account prior scheduled appointments.

Are there any special requirements for shooting at my location?

During the preflight planning process, we research your job location to see if there are any flight restrictions. If the location is in controlled airspace, we will request an authorization with the FAA for your flight.

How soon will my drone shoot be scheduled?

We can schedule your flight within 1-5 days of you signing the service contract. Already scheduled appointments and weather will determine how soon we can schedule you.

Do I need to be on location at the time of the scheduled shoot?

You are welcome to be on site, but you don't have to be there as long as we have proper access to the property and any gates or locks are open. If any house or building needs to be open for interior drone shots, someone will need to be there to provide access.

What about pets during the drone shoot?

For everyone's safety (including your furry pets), we recommend keeping pets indoors or in a safe enclosed area during the drone shoot. Drones can make unfamiliar noises that may startle animals, and we want to ensure they stay calm and safe while we work.

How should we get the property ready for the shoot?

A little preparation goes a long way toward making your photos and videos shine. We recommend making sure the yard and exterior look their best before our arrival. This means mowing the lawn, clearing driveways and walkways, moving vehicles from in front of the house, and removing any clutter like trash cans or lawn equipment. For the interior, tidy up and make sure blinds and/or curtains are open. We send you a pre-shoot checklist that provides helpful tips for you.

When will I receive my photos and/or videos?

Most projects are delivered within 12-24 hours after the shoot, and that includes any special editing is required.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes! We are FAA Part 107 certified and insured for drone operations. This ensures safety, compliance and peace of mind for our clients.

How long does a typical shoot take?

Most drone shoots take between 30 minutes and 1 hour, depending on the size of the property and the number of shots needed. Larger properties or more complex projects may require extra time.
